The new Generation IV Replica kit is available in three phases titled "Phase 1", "Phase 2", and "Accessory & Driveline Package". When all three phases are purchased together, they include everything required for a drivable vehicle except for wheels, tires, engine, and paint. In addition to these three phases, we offer a line of optional components, which are not required on a basic car, but may be added as desired. Examples of optional components would be roll bars, cd/stereo system, console, etc. For those who would like their kits fully or partially assembled please contact us. The Generation IV Replica kits may be selected in such a way to order anything from a rolling chassis, to an advanced assembled kit, to a complete turnkey replica. The first step in building your Generation IV Replica is purchasing "Phase 1", which includes the frame and all the chassis related components for the car. Phase 1 along with wheels and tires can be fully assembled before the body is purchased. The next step is purchasing the "Accessory & Driveline Package. This phase includes the transmission and other accessories, which when combined with a customer supplied FE block engine, will complete the powertrain. The engine and "Accessory & Driveline Package" can be installed in the chassis before the body is purchased. The final step is purchasing "Phase 2". This phase includes the fiberglass body and all related parts, which will install directly to the body. E-M's fiberglass body comes as a unitized assembly with integral cockpit, trunk compartment, and wheel wells. Doors and lids are hinged and latched at the factory. The body may be simply dropped onto the completed chassis and bolted down at eight points. The majority of the body hardware can be pre-installed on the body before mounted to the chassis. |
